Microhydrin   Q & A

1) Q. What has changed about Microhydrin?
A. We now have a new, improved formula of Microhydrin available in caplets. Patrick has discovered a way to increase the stability of the product so it can be made into caplets, and he has added more hydrogen ions to the product. The new product provides more antioxidant power and lasts longer when added to water.
2) Q. Is the name Microhydrin changing?
A. No. The new, advanced formula will still be called Microhydrin. We will have the product available in its original formula (capsules) and the new formula (caplets).
3) Q. How does this change the powder?
A. A new powder form of Microhydrin will soon be available. The new formula contains a
stabilizing ingredient called potassium citrate. This new powder is denser than the original powder. It tastes good in water, dissolves easily and clearly, and is more stable. You may use the scoop provided or add a slightly rounded 1/8th teaspoon (one gram) of the Microhydrin powder to one liter (32 oz.) of pure water and sip it throughout the day. This is equal in potency to four of the new Microhydrin caplets.
4) Q. Will RBC carry the powder in a smaller size?
A. We are currently discussing that, but no decision has been made at this time.
5) Q. Which Microhydrin will come in the packs? (Starter Packs, Time In A Bottle, Road to Royal Health, PIP)?
A. The new Microhydrin caplets will come in all of these packs. Capsules cannot be
substituted in the packs.
6) Q. Which product will come in my AMO order?
A. The new formula of Microhydrin will be sent in AMO orders beginning January 15th, 2002. If you would like to receive Microhydrin capsules in your AMO order, please fax an AMO change request form to 1-800-835-2563 at least 5 days before your AMO ship date.
7) Q. When I order, which product will I get if I don't specify?
A. Anyone who does not specify which form of Microhydrin they want will automatically receive the new, advanced formula.
8) Q. Will the caplets come in blister packs?
A. Not at this time. Caplets are available in 60, 120 and 240 count bottles.
9) Q. Will MicroBrite™, MSM with Microhydrin® and Bath Salts with Microhydrin® be
changing?
A. No, these formulas will not change. However, they will contain the new powder form of
Microhydrin.
10) Q. Will the Microhydrin marketing materials (Product sheet, brochure, website) be
updated to reflect these changes?
A. Yes. The marketing materials will change on January 14th, 2002. The cover story of the January issue of Spotlight On Health will introduce the new Microhydrin to the field.
11) Q. Why is the seal no longer perforated?
A. Microhydrin is now more stable. No Hydrogen anions are lost during storage or transport, so there is no reason to ventilate the bottle.
12) Q. Can I add the new Microhydrin caplets to my water?
A. Yes, you can drop the caplet in water. It will dissolve in about 20 minutes. You may stir
the water to shorten this time.
13) Q. What ingredients have been added to the new formula?
A. Small amounts of additional ingredients have been added to enhance the stability of the product and to create the caplet form. These include: Food Grade Bentonite,
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Croscarmelose, Stearic Acid and Magnesium
Stearate.
14) Q. What is Bentonite?
A. It is a food grade, edible clay that has been used for centuries for detoxification purposes. A small amount is used in Microhydrin to add stability to the product.
15) Q. Has any testing been done on Bentonite?
A. Bentonite has been used for many years. Numerous studies have shown it to be safe even when it is consumed by as much as 25% of the total diet.
16) Q. What is Microcrystalline Cellulose?
A. It is a type of cellulose (fiber) with a microscopic crystalline structure. It is used as a
binding agent to hold together the ingredients in a caplet.
17) Q. What is Sodium Croscarmelose?
A. It is the mineral sodium bound to a type of cross-linked fiber. It is used to enhance the
dissolvability of caplets.
18) Q. What is Stearic Acid?
A. It is a fatty acid derived from vegetable oil and used in supplement manufacture as a
binding and filling agent to hold the caplet ingredients together.
19) Q. What is Magnesium Stearate?
A. It is a mineral salt used as a lubricant to assist in the flow of the material into the compression machine and the ejection of caplets.
20) Q. What is potassium citrate?
A. It is a form of the mineral potassium, which is required for optimum health. Potassium citrate is often taken in caplet form to supplement potassium in the diet. It is present in the Microhydrin powder as a stabilizing agent.
21) Q. Is the new product still vegetarian?
A. Yes. There are no animal products in the new Microhydrin.
22) Q. Will we have a larger, family sized bottle of caplets?
A. Yes! We have a new 240 caplet size available.
23) Q. Will the capsules be available in the new 240 count size?
A. Not at this time.
